Race Packet Pickup – We have over 600 people registered for the race. So to save time on race day we urge you to pick up your race packet on Friday 9/28, from 6pm-8pm at Kingsway High School. You can also pick up day of the race 6:30am-8:00am. Race day pickup will be at Swedesboro Boro Hall, which is located near the start of the race. If you are part of a team, group or family, you may pick up other people if you wish.
Race Bibs for Runners in the 5k – This year we are chip timing will be used for the race. A microchip is embedded in your race bib. When you cross the finish line you will be able to see your race time on a screen. We will also have race results much quicker using this method. You must have your bib pinned on your front and not crumbled up at all.
Parking – Parking will be very limited in downtown Swedesboro. It is highly recommended that you use the free shuttle bus service provided. The shuttles will start at 6:30am and run continuously until 5:00pm from Kingsway High School to the race start.
Opening Ceremonies – Begin at 8:00 near the start of the race.
Race Start – Race starts at 8:30am; the 5k will go off first, followed by the 1 mile walk. There will be one water station for the run at mile number 2. We will have mile markers at mile 1 and 2, and will have volunteers giving out the mile splits. You must be wearing a bib that has your name on it to get the correct time for the race.
1 Mile Walk – the walk will start right after the runners begin. Please line up behind the runners. As you walk the course and start nearing the finish line, please stay to your right as runners will be coming from your left down the course.
Finish - As you approach the finish line there will be a separate finish chute for the runners and the walkers. Only the run is being timed. We are using a professional timing company, times will be posted right after the race near the finish line. Finish times will also be posted on naterocksheaven.org by Monday October 1st.
Post Race – Once you have crossed the finish line you will be directed to the post race food area, which is located in the lot near Heritages. Only runners and walkers will be permitted in this area, you will need to show your bib number to access the food and beverage.
Awards - At 10:00am the winners will be announced at the Main Stage which is next to Cheega’s Funeral Home.. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for male and female. In addition age group prizes will also be awarded.
